In an attempt to restore serenity in the state, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has published names of erring police officers being prosecuted for violating human rights across the state.
He made this move known to the public via his Twitter handle on Friday morning.
Sanwo-Olu stated that the prosecution is part of the efforts of his administration in ensuring an end is being put to police brutality in the State.
This is coming following days of violence in several parts of the state over the shooting of protesters by security operatives.
