Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde trademarks her name

Veteran Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has taken to social media to announce that she has trademarked her name “Omotola”.

She announced this via a post which she shared on her official Twitter and Instagram pages on Wednesday, Febraury 17.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the beautiful mother of 4 wrote “OMOTOLA- Trademarked”.

when a name or a business name is trademarked, this implies that it has been duly registered under patent laws which is legally done by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Hence, no other person is permitted to trade with the name “Omotola” as stated in the copyrights law.
