United States suspends Hushpuppi’s trial till 2021

The trial of the popular Instagram celebrity, Ramoni Abbas, who is well known as Hushpuppi, has been moved to 2021 in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is contained in the chambers orders of Judge Otis Wright. His trial will now resume by 9:00 a.m. on May 4, 2021.

However, recall that new evidence were tendered sometimes last month against the alleged internet fraudster.

The 37-year-old is facing four-count of conspiracy for committing wire fraud, money laundering conspiracies, international money laundering and engaging in monetary transactions in property derived from specified unlawful activity.

Recall that he was arrested some months ago in Dubai alongside his friend Woodberry and others, and they were taken to the U.S. for prosecution.
